Public utilities are buying more transformers than the market is making, and lead times have stretched. Manwell Power imports from established manufacturers in Mexico and Korea, clears customs, stores the product in Texas and delivers to your specification. We are a new company with a narrow focus: do this one thing carefully.

Compliance

The paperwork travels with the unit.

A purchasing officer should not have to chase documents. Each quote and delivery includes the following.

DOE efficiency. Models certified under the Department of Energy distribution transformer standards, 10 CFR Part 431.
IEEE / ANSI design and test. Conformance to IEEE C57.12.00 and the applicable product standard (C57.12.20 overhead, C57.12.25 and C57.12.26 single-phase pad-mounted, C57.12.34 three-phase pad-mounted). Per-unit test report.
Guaranteed losses. No-load and load losses stated per model, so total-cost-of-ownership evaluations can be run.
Country-of-origin documentation. Origin of the unit and its principal components, prepared to meet buyer requirements including those arising from Executive Order 14421.
Utility specifications. We review your material standards and approved-manufacturer lists and prepare equivalency submittals where needed.
Warranty. Stated in each quote and administered in the United States.
